Batteries are installed to manufacturer instructions with correct clearances, and all electrical work is completed to BS 7671 by competent electricians.
How a battery install works
Right-sizing matters more with batteries than any other part of a system — our process starts with your real usage, not a guess.
1. Usage review
We look at your electricity bills and, if you have solar, your generation pattern. This tells us the usable capacity that will actually pay back for your home.
2. System design
We match battery capacity and inverter type to your setup — hybrid inverter for new solar, or AC-coupled battery to retrofit alongside an existing system.
3. Fixed-price quote
Your quote itemises the battery, inverter or coupling equipment, cabling, installation, commissioning and VAT. No hidden extras.
4. Installation
We mount the battery in a suitable location with correct clearances, connect to your system and configure charge and discharge settings for your tariff.
5. Commissioning & app setup
We test charge and discharge, set up the monitoring app on your phone and show you how to read savings and state of charge.
6. Aftercare
We remain your point of contact for warranty, firmware updates and tariff advice as your usage changes over the years.
